How Kintsugi Consulting

and Counseling Helps

Kintsugi ("golden joinery"), also known as Kintsukuroi ("golden repair") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery; by mending the area of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver or platinum. The concept that a broken item can be made even more beautiful or refined than it was originally. Our scars are what make us beautiful!

Why does this matter?

Everyone falls in life. The goal is to get back up and learn from our suffering. Kintsugi is a philosophy of putting the broken pieces together but highlighting the change. We hope to walk alongside and be your fellow traveler in you journey to self discovery and meaningful change.

The Kintsugi Approach

Kintsugi Consulting and Counseling helps make change. We believe that each individual has the power within to create the change he or she desires.  We love seeing people grow and meet their goals.  Our methodologies are uniquely tailored to your individual journey. At the heart of our practice lies mindfulness, amplifying the benefits of every session.

Embodying this philosophy, we firmly believe in the transformative power of healing and resilience.  Therapy with Kintsugi invites you to increase self-compassion and compassion for others as your embrace your imperfections, and get to know and accept all parts of you. Change can be hard, and it is through looking at ourselves that we can grow into the people we were meant to be.  We would love to work with you to help you grow, challenge your thoughts, and help you get to know all parts of yourself better.
